Yvonne Culpepper has secretly and sometimes not-so-secretly aspired to be a writer for most of her life. In the meantime she has had several “careers” in her life: an administrative assistant, a full-time mother, a Tupperware lady, a substitute teacher, a high school English teacher, and most recently, a writer and editor for an educational publisher. |

Gerald Reid
Founding Editor
After retiring from the federal government in 2001, Gerald founded Mountain Peeks Magazine. He is a native of Lithia Springs, Georgia, and is married to Mary Jane Reid, who owns and operates Hair Hutch, a hair salon in Jasper. Gerald and Mary Jane operate a resort condominium rental in Panama City Beach offering first class accommodations at a discounted rate.
Gerald also retired as a Master Sergeant from the 94th Tactical Hospital, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia in 1987. Gerald and Mary Jane have three children and three grandchildren. He is a volunteer with Piedmont Mountainside Hospital Auxiliary and a member of First Baptist Church in Jasper. |

Ann Parks
Ann Quinton Parks was born in Maryville, Tennessee, but her family moved back to Talking Rock, Georgia when Ann was in the third grade. She married Truman Parks in 1957. She worked for Stanley Home Products for many years and has penned the “Happy Ramblers” column in the Pickens County Progress for about two decades. She is a member of Talking Rock Baptist Church. Ann began her monthly column about her memories of living in these mountains in March 2004. |

Dr. John Reale
Dr. Reale is Pastor of the Foothills Community Church in Marble Hill, Georgia. He is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and received a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1989 after a 20-year career as an Intelligence Office. He was Vice President for Advanced Systems at Science Applications International Corporation until 1999. He began writing columns in Mountain Peeks in 2005. |
